Laura Wood's book "Silver Snowfall" is an atmospheric story about growing up, youthful dreams and their fulfillment, about fantasy and reality, and about a persistent desire to act for a goal.
The plot of the book takes readers to Britain in 1931. The main character, eighteen-year-old Freya Trevelyan, runs away from home in search of adventure and fame. Freya adores the theater! And when she is unexpectedly offered a job as a costume assistant, she doesn't hesitate. She sets off with the troupe on tour, dreaming of the stage life, all the glamour and hustle.
