A manuscript without an ending, a corpse without a face, questions without answers. On the outskirts of Grenoble, a car accident occurred: a young man, fleeing from customs officers, crashed into a balustrade and died. The police, arriving at the scene, found the body of a girl in the trunk. Without a face or hands. Meanwhile, Leana Morgan, a modest teacher who became the queen of thrillers, receives a phone call four years after her daughter’s disappearance. Her husband Julian is in the hospital with a head injury: he was attacked. Moreover, he has lost his memory. He, who never gave up the search and believed until the end that Sarah was alive. Leana will have to unravel the tangle of sinister mysteries on her own.
“The Unfinished Manuscript” is the first novel by Franck Thilliez in the trilogy about Caleb Traskman. First time in Ukrainian.
